We are expanding our training staff again. We are looking for an instructor who is comfortable with training on a high performance computing cluster as well as cloud-based tools, such as Amazon instances. We teach a wide range of students from the university, but also nearby governmental agencies and industry as well. This position will coordinate with nearby universities to improve data analysis instruction in Oregon. As a current instructor, I can vouch for the fact that our research is varied and interesting. Instructors have ample opportunity to seek out collaboration in their own field, but I actually find myself enjoying the opportunity to problem solve in fields where I have little prior experience.
