The idea behind Shellther is that it records your shell session and syncs it to 
an etherpad. So learners can keep up not only with what you type, but also what 
the terminal prints back.


Last time we tried it, it was still a bit clunky, but it is open for 
contributions!

On the conference I organised last week (http://sciencetogether.online) we 
found floobits, a similar tool which can be used in such way. You can either 
use for pair programming or to make everyone to follow you across different 
files. I've not used for teaching in a class and I'm not sure how well it would 
go, but I've used twice already (in less than a week) to discuss stuff with 
learners. As with casto I can use it from my fav editor or from the web if I'm 
not using my own computer. The summon command is very sweet, so everyone sees 
what you are seeing (even if they use their own editor).
