Hi everyone,
Apologies for being slow to respond - long weekend for Canada Day (our
150th, so yay us). As Brian says, the home page for the online version
(http://third-bit.com/teaching/) has links to both .mobi and .epub - I'm
still struggling to figure out how to make these available as zero-cost
"purchases" on Amazon, and would welcome point-to-point mail from anyone
*outside* the US who's managed to make this work.
And while I'm glad people are finding it useful, I'm just the editor -
the content was a group effort from a lot of people. The Carpentry
instructor training materials are constantly being updated at
https://swcarpentry.github.io/instructor-training/, and contain a lot of
Carpentry-specific stuff that I didn't include in this booklet - please
check out that site for updates.
Cheers,
Greg
p.s. and for those who might be interested,
https://gvwilson.github.io/js-vs-rc/ is slowly taking shape, and
feedback would be very welcome.

Is there an eBook I can buy somewhere?
A bit of googling brought me to a beautifully formatted version on
Greg's website:
http://third-bit.com/teaching/
as well as ePub and MOBI versions here:
http://third-bit.com/2017/05/31/how-to-teach-programming.html
Greg: thank you for creating this. I'm looking forward to perusing it
and refreshing my best practices. (-:
Regards,
Brian
