The Journal of Open Source Education
(https://github.com/openjournals/jose) is a new journal for open
educational software and open-source educational content. A companion to
the Journal of Open Source Software (http://joss.theoj.org/,
https://arxiv.org/abs/1707.02264), it is a scholarly journal with a
formal peer review process designed to/improve the quality of the
software or content submitted/. Upon acceptance into JOSE, a CrossRef
DOI is minted and the paper is listed on the JOSE website.
I think this is a really exciting development, and I hope that many
members of the Carpentry community will check it out and contribute to it.
Cheers,
Greg
