Hi All, We at UW-Madison are considering hiring a "Data Science Facilitator", who will work in our new Data Sciences Hub and meet with researchers to help them identify the most appropriate data science tools, learning opportunities, services (on- and off-campus), and collaboration opportunities for their research objectives.
Beyond the Carpentries lists and blogs (*of course*), I'm wondering if some of you might recommend other avenues for advertising such a position. We're not releasing other details quite yet, as we're still in the planning phase for both the position and the DSHub, so I'm sorry I can't offer more details. Thank you, in advance, for any ideas, Lauren (certified instructor and 'Carpentries' organizer at UW-Madison) Lauren Michael - Research Computing Facilitator, Center for High Throughput Computing <http://chtc.cs.wisc.edu/>, University of Wisconsin - Madison Other Affiliations: Advanced Computing Initiative <http://aci.wisc.edu/>; Wisconsin Institute for Discovery <http://wid.wisc.edu/profile/lauren-michael/>; ACI-REF <http://aci-ref.org/> [email protected], www.tinyurl.com/LMichaelCalendar, Discovery 2262, (608)316-4430
