Hi everyone After a year of very low attendance, we are putting our monthly community calls on hiatus until further notice.
We will still aim to have regular catch ups like the quarterly Carpentry Champions calls (the next of which is Feb 14/15 - see the etherpad http://pad.software-carpentry.org/champions for local times and dates) and meetings of the Assessment network ( http://www.datacarpentry.org/assessment-network/). These more targeted, ongoing areas of interest seem to be attracting more people than general calls. I have removed the community calls from the community calendar today. If you should have an idea about a speaker or a one-off event that you would like to run by me, I am happy to hear it !
