That's precisely the point of my post as well - something that I thought was 
too obvious for words ... was overlooked and I inherited it.  I mean, who 
installs a door release without any indicator that the door has been released?  
Major "duh."  --  I can understand making a mistake (we all do) but it was 
never fixed before I came along to take over, a year later.
