We run 7.2.5.1P6 (patch 6 to 7.2.5.1) and haven't run into NDMP issues. P6 is from October, so there is probably a more recent patch release. NetApp's releases have become less reliable recently. 7.2.5.1 was quickly released in response to a stupid recurring quota bug (the same bug showed up in an earlier release) in 7.2.5. We've been waiting until at least P4 or so before upgrading lately.
