Hi, At $WORK we use a reverse web proxy to knit together lots of different web servers into an intranet.
As well as providing a degree of protection for the underlying back-end web servers, it also provides single sign-on, by caching a user's credentials, and form-filling the login pages on the back-end web servers. Our current solution is at end-of-life, and we're looking for a replacement. The obvious solution is Microsoft ISA, but I would be interested in hearing if anyone is successfully deploying other commercial or open source solutions, especially in an academic context. Many thanks, Jonathan. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
