I'm not using the 7000; I prefer to BYO solaris. I am using NIS and AD for this purpose, and have been since ... I guess about 10 months ago. I love it all except for some reason, I can't get Administrator/Root to be a valid CIFS user client. (All the normal users are fine; it's just administrator that's not accepted as a cifs client.) Um ... I could be wrong actually. You did say "acl's." I'm not using acl's. I'm just using UID/GID and posix bits. I haven't actually attempted acl's. If you'd like, I can forward you my solaris setup procedure offlist. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
