Hi
I'm not sure about flash at this point, but I can snwer your question about selecting multiple items. There's a way to do it with VO, but it is a little strange--here are the steps: important: Before attempting this, make sure VO is interacting with the file browser or icon view.
1. Navigate to the first item you would like to select.
2. Disable cursor tracking, ctrl+option+shift+f3. If you don't do this, everytime the VO cursor moves you'll lose your selection, as the keyboard focus will move as well. 3. Use the VO movement keys (ctrl+option+arrow keys) to locate the other items you wish to select. On each one, press ctrl+option+command +spacebar. Once all files are selected, perform the operation you'd like to do. When done, re-enable cursor tracking (ctrl+option+shift+f2 again), if you don't the VO and keyboard focus won't track each other.

hope this helps

I bought a new Mac Mini a few months ago with the intent of learning VoiceOver with the help of a sighted assistant. I am partially sighted, but cannot rely on my eyes for the computer.

We have been making good progress, but have a few concerns.

First off, has anyone else been having trouble viewing Flash content with VoiceOver? We were told by the nice folks at Apple that we should just disable Flash. How, exactly, would we go about doing that?

Second, we've been trying to find a way to select multiple non- consecutive items using just the keyboard. No luck yet. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance
