Hi,
You can also use Command E to open the equalizer and command w to
close the eq window. And all the EQ functions are accessible.

What version of real player are you using?
My copy is completely accessible. There's buttons for play,
rewind, fastforward, mute, volume settings, and even a timer to
tell you how much of the file has played. I'm puzzled how you
could say this is less or even equal to itunes. I've never seen
such controls in itunes. I admit, w/o purchasing the pro license
to quicktime, it doesn't do as much as itunes, such as export,
import, and convert between formats, but I don't use quicktime for
that anyhow, so it doesn't bother me.

Hi
Hmm, I don't get the finder busy problem at all, you did switch to
column view with command+3 right? Leaving it on icon view *always*
does this to me, but column view doesn't. Switching it on one
folder doesn't make it permanent, you might want to go into finder
preferences and check the "open new windows in column view" box--
this fixed that for me.
To make realplayer the default, highlight an mp3 file, bring up
the context menu, and select "always open with." Realplayer should
be listed in that menu, if it's not then choose the "other..."
option and browse to find the realplayer.app file in your
applications folder--note that some users seem to be having issues
with this particular dialog causing finder to be busy for a long
time. I'm not currently seeing this problem on my iBook, but it's
something to watch out for. Realplayer isn't really much better
than iTunes, though as far as accessibility goes and in fact
iTunes seems to have more keyboard shortcuts than Realplayer--
either that, or realplayer has a lot of hidden shortcut keys not
listed in the menus.

I am happy to announce, that I am writing this email using my
(new, to me) dual g4 533, with 768 of ram. And I got to tell you,
its great!!!!! espeally compared compared to the g3 300 with 384
ram that I was using.
Got to admit though, I'm still experiencing the issue of finder
being busy when trying to access a shared folder using samba on a
windows box. but I could access my g3 300 just fine with no
problems.
Does anyone know how to get rid of itunes, or to deffinetly make
real player the referred playerr for all? cause I hate itunes.
