Well, at least yours showed up in System Preferences. Once mine  
paired, they never seemed to be able to connect again, and I'm quite  
sure the problem was on the computer end not the headphone end. Very  
disappointing.

But also, just in regard to switching sound output in general, having  
to go into System Prefs to change it is a real problem.
