Can this then be read on a Windows PC? Nice! Never heard of that
before, or at least, never explored it.

As a matter of interest, you do not even need Stuff-It to
create .zip files on a Mac. All you need to do is locate the
folder you wish to zip, right click on it (VO keys+shift+m) to
bring up the contextual menu and choose "Create Archive". This
will give you the .zip file and thus you only need to copy one item.
