Hi.I just ran the installer; are you sure it completed successfully? Also, it's possible that your adapter doesn't work with that driver and in that case I don't know what the installer would do. You may have already done this, but if not, check by going to the terminal and typing
ls /dev/cu.* | sayand see what is listed. There should be other cu devices even if yours didn't install.
