After the announcement of money 97, I really thought money would be
accessible. I could say this about a whole host of Microsoft
products. Just because something has a year stamp on it is no
indication of how long it's been on the production schedule. Have we
yet seen a new Mac product since the release of VO which has improved
accessibility? Why not? It's simply that the cycles began before VO
was released and are being carried forward. Microsoft have committed
today that they'll continue to support the Mac, but how long it will
be before their products are compatible with VO was not even
mentioned and this is because the decision announced today like the
year date on IWord 2006 has been a long time coming. These things
are not borne over night.
