After the announcement of money 97, I really thought money would be accessible. I could say this about a whole host of Microsoft products. Just because something has a year stamp on it is no indication of how long it's been on the production schedule. Have we yet seen a new Mac product since the release of VO which has improved accessibility? Why not? It's simply that the cycles began before VO was released and are being carried forward. Microsoft have committed today that they'll continue to support the Mac, but how long it will be before their products are compatible with VO was not even mentioned and this is because the decision announced today like the year date on IWord 2006 has been a long time coming. These things are not borne over night.
