Thanks. I went ahead and did this and, between the update to 10.4.4 and doing this permissions thing, my system seems to move a bit better. Less hang time and less VO is busy stuff. Maybe its just me but it seems to have done something.

It's possible that you might find some more information in the help system or on Apple's website. It's really not a big deal.
