I had trouble the first time I installed wmp but now I have no
problems installing it. I never had to have sighted assistance to
install it but I'm not disrespecting those who did have to have
sighted help; I'm glad i didn't have to have help because I didn't
have help.
It works fine for most of the things for which I want it.
I use it on the major league baseball site, the nba (basketball)
site, for many radio station feeds and station playlists, to listen
to samples on audible.com, etc. I respect your opinions about this,
but I don't plan to have it banned from my system.
One thing you can do if you have trouble with a lot of sites is make
sure you have /Library/Internet Plugins/Windows Media Plugin. I'm not
sure but it appears safari may wipe it out in some instances.
Let's not get into an argument about this; those who can't stand wmp
and those who use it regularly with success are both entitled to
their opinion.
