How do I contact them anyhow? I had an Apple Id and stuff, but I lost all the info. :( Sorry I am so clueless about this. One more question. If I do this install where none of my settings are messed with, will I have to reinstall programs like RealPlayer and Spark and such?

Hi Jane.
You really don't need sighted assistance to do either the "archive and install" (where your home directory and accounts are maintained) or a total reinstall; the installation talks for you with vo quite nicely. I'm guessing you think that a sighted person may see something in the install that you miss with vo; I don't really think this is the case but since I've never done it without vo I can't say that for sure. It never hurts to have help if you're in doubt; just wanted you to know that it's ordinarily quite doable with vo on your own. Personally I would try the "archive and install" checking the box that allows you to preserve your settings and home directory, first; if that doesn't work, then and only then would I do a complete reinstall from scratch; the install isn't really time-consuming or complicated so you probably would have nothing to lose by trying the least drastic route first. However, if you describe your problems to Apple, it's possible they'll be able to tell that you'd have to do the complete reinstall to resolve your problems.
