Were you already having problems or did they start when you tried
katieplayer? The reason that I ask is that every time I've tried to
use mplayer (yeah, different program entirely I know) I had major
problems with my system and had to reinstall. No idea why as some
people use mplayer just fine on the Mac. Reinstalling took care of my
problems; I made sure I dumped all vestiges of mplayer before
reinstalling. But that made me wonder whether katieplayer had
anything to do with your problems. Was your system always having
problems or can you correlate the beginning of trouble with anything
you installed or tried to do? Just a thought.
