Hi Jane,
Anything is possible in this world. I only know that the only viruses
I have heard of and worms have come from using Microsoft Office on the Mac,
no surprise. If this is real, I'd hope that Apple posts something on their
website to, at least, acknowledge its validity.

Take Care

Hi John:
I get security alerts directly from secunia.com. If this is a false
alert, PLEASE let me know. I pay for the Virus Barrier program and email
notices I receive.
I see nothing official from apple site, as yet. I also checked their
discussion forums. Nothing yet. Hope I haven't sent you all on a wild goose
chase.

With a smile,

Jane K.
