Hi all,
I have now tried out the Mac Mini and decided to go for it!
However, thinking about having 1 GB of RAM in it.
I purchased the 1 GB option.
I just have a few more questions for you! Since it was about one
and a half year ago since I used VoiceOver on a PowerBook G4 for a
test drive.
VoiceOver was launched on April 29th of 2005 and no big changes
that I know of were made.
First from what I understand no big or no changes have been made to
VoiceOver itself? Also, when I used Safari I was not able to select
text on a webpage and copy it and paste it into a text file. Can
this be done?
You have to copy the whole page, paist it into Textedit and strip out
what you don't want there.
Also, I am thinking about getting an external sound card that
connects through USB since the included one doesn't offer a
microphone input. They recommended me some cards from the M-Audio
series.
I use the low-caust iMic interface card from Griffan Technologies,
hope I am spelling that correctly.
And
at last, does anyone know how well Virtual PC runs on the Mac Mini?
And over all, are you satisfied with the VoiceOver performance on
the mini?
I am extremely pleased with VO on the Mac mini.
Just want to have a few of these questions answered before I go for
it!
All the best and thanks,
Christian
