I like the mini. I do have the 1GB of ram, and it runs very well. I
also have the 80GB hd, and an external 250GB drive (both nearly full
unfortunately) but vo works well on it, and I have very little
trouble with lag times. Selecting text on a web page isn't (yet)
possible, unless you save the page to a web archive, and load it into
text edit, or do a select all and paste it in to text edit, though
for me, sometimes this approach doesn't work. Otherwise, I'm very
happy with my mini, and I'm sure you will be too.

Hi all,
I have now tried out the Mac Mini and decided to go for it!
However, thinking about having 1 GB of RAM in it. I just have a few
more questions for you! Since it was about one and a half year ago
since I used VoiceOver on a PowerBook G4 for a test drive.
First from what I understand no big or no changes have been made to
VoiceOver itself? Also, when I used Safari I was not able to select
text on a webpage and copy it and paste it into a text file. Can
this be done?
Also, I am thinking about getting an external sound card that
connects through USB since the included one doesn't offer a
microphone input. They recommended me some cards from the M-Audio
series.
And at last, does anyone know how well Virtual PC runs on the Mac
Mini? And over all, are you satisfied with the VoiceOver
performance on the mini?
Just want to have a few of these questions answered before I go for
it!
All the best and thanks,
Christian
