Since we're talking about Mail, I've noticed that it doesn't delete messages off the server. I check my mail with the Mail program and delete the messages. Sometimes I check my mail on my Windows machine and I get messages that I've already read with the Mail program. I didn't find anything in System Preferences of Mail about deleting messages off the server. In the Windows mail programs that I've used, the messages get deleted after they are downloaded from the mail server. Doesn't Mail do this?

Thanks.

Hi Cait and all,

I have a similar issue where for some reason, attempting to convert
to plain text does not work. In these instances, I need to interact
with the message.
