Yeah, that's one reason I really want to get a mac one day, I'm hearing such
great things out here. I wish the other systems had something like Audio
hijack because you could choose whether or not to record speech or anything
else even if it must use the default physical sound device. I'm sure any
system technically could do it if someone knew how to write sound drivers.

I agree converting isn't real appealing, Brent, but audio hijack pro makes
it at least no problem to accomplish if you really want to do so. I think
if you don't do this the shuffle is the only ipod really useable to us, so
it's kind of a matter of weighing the pros and cons.
