Cepstral is aware of both of these issues. I made a point of
contacting them. This happens with all of the Cepstral voices.

I've not noticed the dock disappearing. However, what any Cepstral
voice does on my system is that it will suddenly, for no apparent
reason, stop reading the dock. I can get to it, I'll here the clicks
as I move left and right on the dock, but it will not read it. When
this happens, it also happens when using command+tab to switch
applications--it won't read either. Is this what is happening?
Unfortunately, I've not found a solution yet.
