Hi Travis,
I would tend to agree with your logic with respect to DVD vs CD media
and VO. But I have had the same problem when attempting to start VO
from the CDs. I purchased a class set of eMacs for our school just
before Christmas and they only had CD drives and thus came with Tiger
on 16 CDs. When I started up from the CDs, I was unable to start VO
and shame of all shames, I had to get sighted assistance. Needless
to say, I have come up with more VO friendly methods for such tasks
like using Target mode.
