I worked some with the script, but I could not get the tab commands
you were talking about to work. What preferences doI need to fix in
Safari? Or do I?
Also, where it says to go to the menu and click on new window, does
that need to be changed to tab as well?

combination of a couple of things I found in mac-hints. You can do
the script as shown below for opening multiple windows or change
the word "window" to "tab" and open multiple tabs in the same
window. Whatever is set as your startup website will also come up,
so you can either keep that as an addition or put in one less url
and let the startup choice in safari be one of your windows without
including it in the script. The group of windows given here is the
group that was in the main script from which I copied; be careful
when copying to your script editor to keep the line with the urls
intact or script editor will complain about expecting expression
and finding end of line; of course you cn add, subtract, and
substitute urls as you like, even have a few different scripts for
loading different groups of urls.. Also you must have "enable
access for assistive devices" checked in Universal Access in System
Preferences.
