Sure thing. Scott and I are making sure there's not an insurmountable
conflict happening with VO though.

Hi Jane,
Here's a link to help info for sleep on the web (or you can search
local katieplayer help for "Sleep"):

As Scott pointed out, there may be a conflict between VO and the
Sleep feature.

Hi there. What are these sleep settings? I've never seen them;
maybe I just haven't looked inthe right place. What would you
use them for?

Hi Scott,
VO and Sleep options seem to be playing OK together here...but
will try again to make it break. Most elegant solution is
probably for us to update and let VO take over navigation/
voicing of Sleep settings pane entirely. It's on the list. Will
keep posted.
Thanks again,
Joe

Joe, thanks, I guess the self-voicing menu is't working to well
for me. I got it to speak once, but after that I can
consistantly get into it, but have no speech and no means to
get out of it. Not sure what the deal is, but any suggestions/
thoughts appreciated. Glad I could be of some assistance.

Ah, yes. Good catch Scott. The current version of katieplayer
was developed well before VO was released so we didn't predict
the key command conflict. But I've noted your catch in our
list of development gotchas. Not incidentally, the katieplayer
Sleep dialog which is currently self-voicing is being replaced
by a VO navigable dialog. In the very near term, it shouldn't
be a big deal for us to change the key command for Sleep option.
Thanks again for reporting this Scott.

Folks, reading through the manual I found the sleep option
which is accessed by control + option + s. When I tried
accessing this menu while playing is paused as the manual
instructed, I just get a ding. VO option for reading
sentence. I tried using the bypass key, but still no menu
came up. What could I be doing wrong and maybe Joe you all
could consider changing this key combo. This is assuming I'm
not totally nuts which is always possible.
