I think one of the critical points in favor of the Mac is that VoicOver
is a standard feature on all Macs.

While it is true that Macs are not as common as PCs. It is also true
that Macs are much more common than PC with Jaws or WindowEyes
installed. The fact is that a blind user of VoiceOver can walk up to any
Mac with the current OS, press command  F5 and have that Mac be
accessible to them the same is not true for Windows which would require
software costing more than a MacMini to be installed before it would
become accessible.
