Hi
I have just installed XP on my iMac along with Jaws 7.1 and an alva 544 braille display. (why do I feel so unclean ?)It runs fast, very fast but I will have to see how well it continues to go. I have even experienced the ultimate windows experience, managed to get it to blue screen when I tried to access the inbuilt camera (I do these silly things as I am sighted) I must say though at first impression things seem to be running really well (for windows that is) The dual booting startup may be a problem though, I couldnt get it to speak (not a surprise really as there is no OS loaded at that point) so picking the startup drive in system preferences and rebooting may be the only viable option. I believe this will convince a great many users, sighted and vision impaired to risk the move to Apple, which can only be a good thing, after all once the users experience OSX i doubt they will want to run XP if it can be avoided. I for one will be scrapping my Windows PC at home now.
