Folks, I'm setting up the Mac Mini for my son.
I wanted to use parental controls to restrict what he can access for now and I also wanted to use the scaled back version of the finder to keep things simple for him to use. I've run into a couple of problems and am hoping someone will have some thoughts.

1. When logging as my son, I can't bring VO up by the usual means or so it would appear. What happens is that VO loads, but will not speak until you click on the desktop and then it'll speak normally. 2. I am not sure how to add programs that I installed to the list of available apps. I installed a game while logged in as myself, but when logged in as him, can't find it. Maybe this is much to restrictive or maybe the more advance Finder would be better.

If anyone has worked with the parental controls and can offer some thoughts, I'd appreciate it.
?
tnx
Scott
