True. More accurately: only *upgrades* are available for download from Apple. No full version is available for download from Apple. Front Row is not available from Apple as an "add-on." So, upgrades are for any machines which originally included Front Row (final revision of the iMac G5 + MacIntel machines). There are various Front Row hacks floating around (appeared soon after Front Row was introduced last October) - and ways of moving the application from one Mac to another (see Anne Robertson's earlier post) - but these are not officially supported by Apple.

Incidentally, the link you included is for an update - not the Full Version of Front Row. Listed in the System Requirements on the update page is "Front Row" - meaning you must have a previous full version of Front Row installed before running the update.
