That's correct.
I reinstalled my OS without all the extra language translations,
without X code, and without all the bundled software like Office,
Apple Works, Quicken and a few other things. And all I used was the
#1 disk.
BTW, just for the heck of it, I also reinstalled once with the Unix
configuration to see what would happin. The only thing I couldn't do
under Unix was to use File Vault.
