Or you could install either nfs or samba, then you'll have no need to  
format drives in particular formats, or buy an extra program.  Samba  
is free, and nfs is included with both windows and mac.  Either  
solution will give you drive access, with samba also giving access to  
the printers in addition to the drives.  All depends on what you want  
to do.
