the file sharing between the two works flawlessly.  This is assuming two
things.

OS X can see and read and write your windows partition if its formatted as
FAT 32.  Windows can read your OS X partition if you buy a program called
Mac Drive that costs around $25.

Os X can read NTFS drives but can't write to them.  so if you choose Fat
during installation of windows XP you'll have no problems.
