Yes, I had this problem on one of my computers and it drove me crazy.
But I figured it out finally. Open spark, press cmd-coma for
preferences, and check the box for "automatically activate at login".
Click the "close" button in that window and then make sure again that
spark is enabled. this should take care of your problem.
