Cheryl, If you open a file in QuickTime, by default, there will be a metronome clicking constantly unless you turn off the metronome. This is the image that you'll encounter if you use Control-Option-home to get to the first visible item, which is the counter and then move to the left. You'll encounter an image that, when clicked, turns off the metronome. Over a year into Tiger and something so basic hasn't been labeled. Hi Jerry. What is the metronome image supposed to show? I do see the image you are talking about, but I can stop the clicking sound by moving the cursor over and it does show the time. so this image must be supposed to show something else. Please explain.
