Hi Gordon, As a matter of interest, I have had VO and Mail react in the fashion that Travis mentioned. To remedy this I either turn off then on VO or Quit then restart Mail and the problem goes away. Still can't seem to get the character/word thing though. The continuing saga of oddities.
