What about Ipodlinux? Is that accessible? I think the Ipod recording would
be mono even for line in and to do line in they say you need a dock to, get
this, plug the line input into the dock's line out jack. They say that for
the mic can be used by plugging the supplied earbuds and talking into the
left one or by plugging in a mic. This seems so odd to feed sound into the
out jacks.

Hello everyone,
I have successfully loaded rockbox on two new ipod video 30gb, one for
my wife and one for myself.
It works pretty well for the most part.
I over the next fiew days will compile some information on it from a
blind user's perspective.
I also have begun learning the rockbox programming code structure,
and such. So hopefully I will be able to contribute to rockbox on
behalf of the blind community.
