Yes I believe that there are some viruses out there that can attack a Mac and I did think that Symantec had a virus solution for the Mac but to be perfectly frank with you, it seems to me at any rate that Mac machines are at a far lower risk of being infected (mainly because of the design of the OS10 operating system) than are Windows- based machine though this equation may change radically for those of you who have Windows installed in your Intel-based Macs <smile> and whilst I think of it and I probably shouldn't mention this on linst, there are plenty of better and more accessible alternatives for anti virus toos under Windows than memory hungry, hard disk hungry and sluggish Norton, nod32 is one and aVG is another, you only have to read your local computer magazines or columns to see what trouble Norton will get you into.
