having trouble with softcon dvd and playing dvds

			hi all. i'm having trouble getting softcon dvd player to work on  
my intel imac. i don't know if this has anything to do with it, but i  
thought i'd say that i had one just the same. here's what i'm doing.  
first, i put in a dvd, then apple's dvd player launches. then, i  
close apple dvd player. then, i eject the disc. then, i open softcon.  
now the problem. as soon as the dvd tries to play, a dialogue appears  
saying that their is an error. i can't spell the word of the error so  
i won't try to put it in.anitalization error, sorry for the bad  
spelling. does any0one know what might be going on? thanks in advance
