Hi, I could use some quick help. I'm starting to do phone and skipe interviews for my podcast. I will be using Skipe to call people and recording the interviews. I tried doing this as a test last night with Sound Studio and, the software recorded what came out of the speakers rather than a more direct recording option. I was using USB head phones and an attached microphone but audio from Skipe would not come out of that despite my settings in the OS. I suspect Audio Hijack is the way to go here but I wonder if others are recording with it and how its going. I want to record both the incoming and outgoing audio on the skipe conversation and know it will be clearer if I can record the sound before it goes out the speaker of the Mac.
Will Audio Hijack do this for me and if so, can someone tell me quickly what exactly I must do in the settings to make this work properly? Sorry if this is redundant and has been asked before. Thanks.
