Ok, well i've just followed your instructions and thanks for that, I see what you mean and this leads me to another question.

I see a "fax to PDF" option, so I select this and press enter but I don't see any edit boxes come up to enter a fax number, is my assumption that this function creates a PDF file and then faxes it to a destination fax number corect?

Hi Dane,

In fact, as Joan mentioned, TextEdit can save into a PDF and so can any application that provides a Print dialog. In your Print dialog, follow these steps:

1. cmd+p to bring up the Print dialog.
2. VO keys+i to bring up the Item Chooser menu.
3. Press "u" key to bring VO to the first "Unknown".
4. Press Return.
5. Press VO keys+shift+space to activate the Unknown.
6. Arrow down to Save as PDF, PDFX and many more.

Yes and it works from every app I've ever tried it from.
