Ok folks, for anyone using Audio Hijack, I have found out how best to capture system audio, but I'm not sure about one step in the process or how well this would work. I was told that once Sound Flower is installed, you choose Sound Flower as the output device in System Preferences in sound. Then you would use the effects tab to setup a plugin called Aux which I see is there, but I'm not sure how to activate it. THere's a load button, but it brings up a dialog that I assume is where it wants the file name to load. So, not sure how to do this step in the process, but also the other problem is once you set Sound Flower as your output, you will loose all the sound until you get the aux plugin working. Here are the steps as given to me, if anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it.

Well, you should be able to accomplish this by doing the following. First, open System Preferences, and set your default audio output device to Soundflower. Secondly, hijack your audio input device (microphone) with Audio Hijack Pro, and click "Mute". Then, in your Effects tab, add a VoiceOver plugin configured with the Soundflower device as the input, and directly after that, use an "Auxiliary Device Output" plugin, and configure it to output to your speakers. You should now be able to monitor and record the mix of your microphone's audio, as well as your System Audio. Let me know how it goes.

So, that is direct from support, anyone has any ideas? I am using Audio Hijack so Linein isn't necessary as they told me.

tnx
