I don't believe it does, but don't quote me on that.
I think what needs to be done is contact someone at Canon and work
with them to resolve this issue. I think I'll see if I can make
contact with someone on the development team.

Hi
I have a canon lide 500F and have the exact same problem with the
interface of the driver, except for that fact that it takes about
15 seconds on mine to announce movement, not a few. This makes
scans a real pain in the ass with this scanner at the moment--I've
been wondering if the full version of Omnipage could suppress this
scanning interface as it does on Windows. I'd pay for it for that
reason alone, as I really like that scanner. But yes, I'm having
the same issue with the driver.

I also got that with my Canon scanner and I wasn't overly
impressed with the lite version I got. I had trouble working with
it, but I've been toying with the idea of trying it out again.
THe problem I've run into with the Cano Scan Led60 I have is the
interface software seems to be slow as hell so each scan is this
deal where I have to bring up the item chooser menu, find the scan
button, hit that, and wait. I guess its not that the scanner
itself or the processing is slow as much as when interacting with
it via VO, it takes a couple of seconds for the movement to be
announced by VO. Actually has anyone run into this? I reported it
to Canon, but dont' expect much unless others are having a similar
problem.
Oh sorry, got off track here. Well to tie it back, has anyone who
has/is using a Cano Scan Led60 noticed this? Have you tried
Omnipage and noticed this?

That's quite correct, this was offered with my Canon scanner.

Hey if you people purchase a scanner and it happens to come with
Omni Page lite or some other scanning program, you may very well
be eligible to get a competative upgrade which will save you a
serious tun of cash.
Might want to check this out and I don't believe it matters which
version of the software or if its Mac vs windows.

Hi,
I'm using OmniPage Pro on my iMac, which is running Mac OS X
10.4.3. Don't
use all the VO commands to navigate. But I don't seem to have
any major
problems.
By the way I upgraded to OmniPage Pro from the SE version that
came with the
CnaoScan Scanner.
