Hello Hank:

Just go to www.macvisionaries.com, then look ffor the mail list link or ssomething like that. Once on that page, look for the ddicuss archive or kind of like that. smile

I'm only going by memory and sometimes that goes south but if you can't find let me know and I can copy the information for you.

John

Subject: Voice recognition

Hello:

Reading through the archives of last January I got my I-Book setup with voice recognition. For thos new to the list you can actually speak to your
Mac with some commands and they will be carried out.

As an example instead of opening the applications on the doc I just say in to the microphone "open vlc" and wala, works great. I might add, from the
January archives, very good instructions regarding voice recognition.

One question, when I speak in to the microphone "show me what to say", a list of commands for various applications appear but in a few seconds, they
disappear. and can't find the list in running applications.

Any thoughts on how I could access this list will be appreciated.

John
