Ah, interesting. I was talking to someone on Skype and I could swear
he said he was controling the headphone volume of the Skype call via
the headphone, but then perhaps I misunderstood. Well still not a big
deal, just set the volume level via System Preferences.

The controls on the headset act on the Mac's own settings. The same
