Hank,
I did some experimenting last night and was unable to get sound from
the BBC site. Everything seems to be working except the sound. I
tried installing the recommended version of Rreal player but this
only confused the situation. I'll do more experimenting and let you
know what happens.

live stream on the Mac?
Dane,
I just tried and was able to listen to a real media stream. I
assume you've downloaded Real player. There is a check box in
Safari: Preferences: General that will stop automatic playing of
media it's toward the bottom of the page.
Also, did the download manager window come up after you clicked
on the download link?

I haven't had any luck, I see that their seems to be a variety of
streams you can download including MP#, Real and WMA but when I
click on them, nothing seems to happen, anyone got any ideas?
