Thanks for sharing this. This has been a huge complaint of mine with VO and Safari. I will give this a try for sure! Visit my home page at http://www.disabilitynation.net and subscribe to The DisabilityNation Podcast. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cheryl Homiak" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: Keeping your place in safari or shiira

Thought I'd add this to things that have already been mentioned:
In safari and shiira, if you go to a new link and/or window and then close that window or use the "back" button, often you actually are where you left off on that page. But as soon as you use vokeys you will find yourself back at the top of the page. when you come back to a former page, sometimes you'll hear the link from which you left voiced, but even if you don't hear this, it often works to use tab or option tab to navigate when you initially return to the page instead of vo keys. Very often you are then able to continue where you left off, and once you have tabbed or option-tabbed past one link you can resume vokey-arrow navigation without losing your place if you want to do so.
